Process

Scope → Build → Operate.

Three steps, async-by-default, no decks. The third step is where the work pays for itself.

Step 01 - Scope

No discovery call, no calendar, no deck. A short async exchange is enough.

You tell me where it breaks - what's manual that shouldn't be, which systems are involved, roughly what volume, what "fixed" looks like, what you've already tried. Five lines is plenty. I ask the questions that matter and come back with a number: "this is a €4.5k build, then Operate from €350/mo," one round of questions, or an honest "I'm not the right person for this - here's who is."

Free. No call required to get a number.

For an inherited or vibe-coded codebase the entry is different: a paid System Risk Audit - €1,200 fixed, one week, a written punch list you keep. That's the rescue path, not the default.

Step 02 - Build

Small, visible iterations. Code access from day one. Async by default.

I work in small commits with clear messages. Branches for anything risky. Feature flags where it matters. Your team can see what's shipping as it ships - there's no big-reveal moment, and there's no week where the work is invisible.

No standups. No Zoom rituals. Short async exchanges, weekly written updates, calls when they're genuinely useful and not before.

Fixed scope, fixed price, quoted from the intake. Builds start at €2,500 and typically land between €3k and €8k.

Step 03 - Operate

Most operational systems work isn't project-shaped. It's continuous.

A real-estate lead-gen platform doesn't ship in week 12 and stop. A Magento ops layer doesn't sit still while suppliers change feeds and accounting changes API versions. AI workflows don't just keep running - somebody has to notice when the model output drifts.

This is where most of the value compounds, and it's how the build is priced - to roll forward, not to end. Three rungs, depending on how much the business leans on the system:

  • Hosting - from €100/mo. Stays live and monitored on Pawon infrastructure. Changes and fixes quoted separately.
  • Operate - from €350/mo. Monitored, supported, small changes, evolving as the business changes. Most engagements default here.
  • Embedded - from €1,200/mo. When operations depend on the system daily. Priority async access, proactive work, monthly implementation.

What I expect from you

I work async with founders and operators, not with project managers and committees. A few things make the difference between an engagement that works and one that doesn't:

  • Direct access. Code, infrastructure, the tools, the data. The fewer hoops, the faster I'm useful.
  • A real point of contact. One person who can answer questions and make decisions - not a five-person approval chain.
  • Honest answers. About what's actually broken, what people quietly avoid, what the previous developer left behind. I'd rather know about the haunted spreadsheet on day one than discover it in week six.
  • Patience for the right pace. I ship continuously, but I don't ship sloppily. The work that survives a year in production is rarely the work that demos best in week two.
